Obvious chalk spots just left of the tree.

Start left hand sloper, right hand crimp. Gain the lip and mantel over.

If you know of the FA party, let me know and I will add it. It had obvious chalk spots, so it has been climbed before. fun!

Adam, a few of us climbed this when we were all up there a couple weeks ago. There was no chalk then but holds were clean. Based on the descriptions from two different guides my best assumption is that this is "Peeping Thomas" as it seems to be the only line on that side of the boulder and roughly fits the described style. It's listed as a v4 or v5, but I agree the problem you posted is more in the v3 range. Another example of how much we need a comprehensive accurate Black Mt guidebook!
