BETA PHOTO: Mike Donaldson at the 3rd Tier, WI4.

Description

There are three ice falls in a small steep creek on the north side of the valley.

Tier 1: WI2, about 20 feet tall
Tier 2: WI3-4+, about 35 feet tall, multiple options.
Tier 3: WI4, 2 steps, a few options.

Descent: Rap off trees, or walk around.

Getting There

Park at the parking lot on Bighorn Rd at the East Vail exit. Walk under the bridge to the north side of I-70.

The tiers are visible from I-70 and the parking lot. They look shorter than they are.
