Climbing in Red Rocks after heavy rain can permanently damage the rock! MORE INFO >>>

This is the first dihedral encountered as you approach Dog Wall. The route heads up a series of about 5 steep steps with slabs between them and ends in a short chimney through a small roof. The crux is at the last step before the roof.

The crux "last step" is considerably harder than 5.5, more like 5.8, making this a more serious route, especially since it looks quite easy from the bottom.

the crux last step is nowhere near 5.8, it might be 5.6 on a bad climbing day, but seriously isn't even close to 5.8.
