Climb up on good pockets and ledges. Easier line works off to the right as it rises. The sustained direct line flows far better.
On the far left side of the main wall. 25 feet to the left of #4.
2006 - A pair of relatively 'green' climbers attempted this line using a brand new 'thin' 9.2 mm line, and a Gri-Gri fed backwards (before this incident we used to joke that "Hand goes to the climber!") During said attempt, climber fell as the belayers attention was focused on untangling the unflaked rope. Rope slipped, as the Gri was misfed, so much so that the climber landed on the belayers head. Broke the neck of the belayer, after which he hiked out, drove home, and didn't have it diagnosed for another two weeks. The fallen climber suffered a broken heel, and continued to climb the rest of the day. Test your partner before climbing.
