Kip almost shamed off the crux - Photo by John Ros...

Located in a National Forest Fee Area MORE INFO >>>

Description

A tricky start with loose, blocky feet leads to some dirty, lichen-dusted holds you wish were just a little more positive.

A rest at the wide ledge is followed by some stemming trickery up a short, shallow dihedral to a spot just before the final steep section.

Small, technical holds with perplexing feet lead over the top.

Location

Ninth from the left. There are two (presumably) abortive lines to this line's right, each with a pulled first bolt, and one more line that starts just left of the wide, dirty-looking chimney.

Protection

9 bolts, anchors.

The last 2-3 bolts is an eye opening bit of business.

First half is significantly below grade. The diagonal across that final face is what you get on this route for!
