Description For aspiring leaders enrolled in Climbing 101, University Route should be on the curriculum. This short, easy line makes a great first sport lead. Starting at the base of a small rock outcropping above the main trail, climb the face clipping bolts as you go to finish at the anchors.
Location At the top of the approach trail from the road, instead of going left to the main cliffline, continue straight up a slippery slope to a separate rock outcropping.
Protection Three bolts; bolted anchors.

| Significantly easier than every 5.7 at LEDA. Great for the first time leader. |
