Access Issue: Climbing closures Details

The majority of the areas on the island are now closed to climbing. Anything on National Parks Trust land is indefinitely closed.

Description

UG Boulder is a great boulder to warm up on. It usually bakes in the sun so the best time to climb it is in the evening or night with a hand lamp. It has a few easy problems and 2 harder problems. Expect slab problems on majority of the block. Above the classic route Peebles (V5) is a huge dish you use to top out WATCH OUT this dish has a cactus in it if you reach too deep. There also seems to always be a termite highway to the left of this route.

Getting There

This boulder is across from the PlumTree house. If you cross Tower rd coming from the main check in lobby. You will drive/walk up towards the huts and this boulder will be on your right as the road veers right. ( very obvious can't miss)
