This really is a quiet area, and I don't know whether it's private land or not, so please be considerate when visiting. There are many summer homes and camps around the pond, and winter parking is directly in front of someone's house. Keep a low profile, give a friendly hello to anyone you meet, and hopefully all will continue to be well.
