Back in my day we had to build gym's ourselves out of wood and screws, none of this wall-topia stuff. We'd paint the walls with real paint mixed with real sand we found in the store, not this trendy good looking stuff. We'd set routes ourselves and see if the old guys could keep up with us young bucks. We liked it, we loved it!

The kids today don't know what they have!! Community support, city help and approvals. We had to do the fund raising ourselves, and we were broke all the time! This place has a spot for the kids to take climbing classes! After your 6 year old climbs up the wall, he can even slide down a kiddie slide to do it again! Back in my day, We didn't get coaches. The hard dirt at the base of a boulder was our coach! "Get up!" it would say, "Try it again, because you failed, AGAIN!" that dirt would say. And if you broke your tail bone and shed a tear, your best friends would do you the favor and punch you in the mouth to take your mind off your tail!
I bet there's nice parking at this place too! We had to walk to the climbing gym, 70 miles, and we had to swim across the Snake River just for a bouldering session. We liked it! We loved it.

This new place kinda makes me wish I lived in Twin. Oh well.
