Description

Work your way up the face past a little "twig" growing out of a horizontal. The route gets a little thin. Interesting moves.

Location

This route is located between Unconstrained and High Stepping. Start just right of a large flat rock.

Protection

3 draws for the climb and two foot slings for the anchors.

Pretty tough for a 10b. It makes me wonder if the sandstone holds have lost edges with use as several of the climbs at mentmore that are slab had moves that seemed much harder than their grades. If you're expecting 10b wipe the sand off your shoes hope you're tall enough to reach past the thin stuff.

Arthur,

You should add what you thought the grade is (if you sent the route). This way we can get a consensus grade out of it. I agree with you, some of those more slabby routes at mentmore feel a bit harder than what they are graded. For example, Butter Toes was originally graded 5.10c, I felt it was at least 11 a or b. I think Scott (route setter) must be really good at climbing sandstone slab. He really is the specialist for that area.
