My name is Charlie and I'm an experienced outdoor (and indoor . . . NYC is coolllldddd) climber coming to Tucson for a week for a family reunion. I've climbed in Milagrosa and Mt. Lemmon on two previous trips (as well as Homestead) and would love to get back out on this trip! Coches anyone?? An afternoon on Windy Point? Stroll up the canyon?
Anywho, I'm 29, very easy going and laidback, and just happy to get outside. I can lead up to about 11.c clean (ok, only have 1 11.C clean under my belt), but happy to do whatever. Just looking for some folks to get out on the rock with while I'm enjoying AZ and the reprive from New York's grey, cold, nasty winter.
Please hit me up if you'll be around from the 15th to the 21st and looking to climb.
Cheers, Charlie 267-221-2521 charles.a.reed@gmail.com
Hey, My name is don , I am visiting Arizona till Tuesday. Also escaping the northeast. I climb up to 11, with lots of experience. I am looking to go over to Cochise also. I have a rope and a partial rack with me.
Awesome - would Monday work for you?? Think I'm doing Milagrosa with my Dad on Sunday (more the merrier - just outside of Tucson with some solid sport routes), so Monday or Tuesday (fly out on Tuesday or climbing Tues?) would be perfect - itching to get to Cochise!
Forgot to mention, I'll also have a 60m and 14draws along with a bunch of lockers, runners etc. but no trad gear or gear placing experience . . . sport climber.
Awesome, if you don't mind me tagging along on sunday to climb around tucson it would be great. Monday would be perfect for cochise. I have to get back to phoenix for a 10am flight on tuesday. I have a 70m with me, at least 8 draws, and a single set of cams up to camalot 3, nothing below 00. No wires or wide stuff, but probably pick up some wires at a shop on saturday (left all mine at home). My cell is 518-301-0169. email donhamilton196@gmail.com
I don't have any guide books for here currrently.
I think we have enough gear for the peacemaker with both our sets of draws. I think rockfellow dome is under falcon closure. Looking forward to climbing with you if possible.
