| Bump. This is IMPORTANT and time is almost up. I think that the Access Fund has made some great points with regards to the BLM not having done their homework on this one. Mainly that there are plenty of nesting sites in the region and human factors are not the only ones that can deter nesting raptors. Furthermore the golden eagle is not an endangered species it is listed as Least Concerned for example the Mule Deer is also a least concerned classification. I am not saying F the golden eagle but I am vehemently opposed to a 7 month blind closure by the BLM. IMO the BLM has made some pretty silly assertions with regards to climbing in the past. One shining example is the blaming of climbers for destruction of cryptobiotic soil at Indian Creek when they are allowing local ranchers to run cattle, DERP. | FLAG |
