Description Suggest change

This route cruises over some fun and unique rock features. Starts on the southwest corner of Split Rock to the pointy little pinnacle of the chimney. After wrapping up its cruxiness, the step-over is heady but easier. From here, the bolt line wanders up to Fossilmax's anchors.

Location Suggest change

Southwest side of Split Rock, downhill of the split chimney. Easily seen from the trail.

Rap off at the end. The route is too long to lower a leader with a 60 meter rope. I liked belaying my second from the top.

Protection Suggest change

11 bolts as designed plus a sling for the top of the chimney (we clipped an extra draw to the Chim-Chiminey anchor below which made the step over move ridiculously well protected). Ends at the shared anchor with other west face of Split Rock routes.
