Hi! I am planning to go trekking and climbing in Nepal this spring, from the second week of April til the second week of May. I'd like to go self-organized and self-guided, or to join a private, non-commercial party.

If I organize it, my initial idea is to do a couple of weeks of trekking for acclimation and sight-seeing, and then climb a trekking peak or two.

Please contact me at jmmurph AT gmail DOT com if you're interested in joining me.

Cheers, James

About me:
I'm originally from Australia but now live in Calgary, Canada. I'm 40, quite fit, and have lots of mountaineering experience: I've done a bunch of peaks over 20,000' in Peru and Ecuador, most of the Colorado 14ers, high peaks in the Alps, Tetons, Cascades and Canadian Rockies, and had a great time climbing Mt Robson last year. Happy to share more stories upon request.

I couldn't swing a Nepal trip but I am trying to find mountaineering/alpine climbing partners for ascents in the Banff/Jasper area if that interests you? I'm planning Waddington in the end of July and will be in Canada/Alaska quite some time before that.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
