Bouldering in Morocco.
So me and my wife have saved up 3200$ to travel and climb and hike and just generally live life. (we'll have extra money for hostels or booze.)

We are having the dilemma of a lifetime trying to determine a proper place to travel. So I am looking for opinions from some of MPers.

A few of our choices. Spain, Nepal, Argentina, Tour the pacific northwest, a masssive US roadtrip moab, hueco, yosemite, smith etc..)

What kind of climbing do you want to do?

The best trip like that I ever took was driving to Panama and back. It isn't wonderful as a rock climbing specific trip since most of the rock down there is choss, but the hiking is superb. We also did a lot of saltwater fly fishing and surfing, and just checking things out.

Be careful you don't use all the money on just airfare. Nepal is a fantastic trip but $3200 is going to be gone for the flights for the two of you. And Nepal isn't really a "rock" climbing destination but a mountaineering one. Although the "trekking" is unreal as well. Chris Rice
