Trash at gate boulders

I know rule #1 is "be polite" but whoever left that disgraceful, disrespectful, disgusting mess at the gate boulders is a terrible, inconsiderate waste of bodily fluids and should be castrated so his useless offspring are rid from this planet. End rant. Tomorrow I will be up with a trashbag to make up for this unich and his trailer trash ideals.

You honestly think that person is on here...? Or you just looking for a pat on the back?

Good work Travis, I always keep a trash bag with me when I climb to pick up trash.

I too keep a trash bag in my pack everytime I climb to pick up trash. Only difference is I dont feel the need to post online so everyone knows about my good deeds.

Stop giving him what he wants! Cant you just do a good deed without having to brag about it online?

Sorry about that, thanks for pointing out that my mess up there bothered you, I really didn't think anyone would mind if I threw my trash everywhere. I'll be sure to clean it up next time.

Ted I agree with you about spraying about what u did or are going to do but Im glad he's cleaning up his crag. I don't know Travis but maybe he does need a pat on the back, hug or something.MP is full of spraying. Hope everyone has a positive labor day weekend!

Yep great to keep your crag clean and I, along with many of my climbing buddies, always climb with a trash bag ready to pick up garbage. Why do you need to come online and spray though? Just pick up the garbage and move on. Do you really need a pat on the back that bad?

After reading your comments allow me to retort. First off I'd like to thank all of you for picking up trash as well, I'm glad to see the climbing community is full of good people who also care about the quality of our beloved crags. Secondly, this post was mainly meant for amusement purposes, and although I think it's safe to say most of you were amused some of you responded negatively which I didn't expect. Thirdly, I apologize if what I said came off as gloating I in no way, shape, or form was trying to brag about my altruism. The trash bag comment was simply a byproduct of the amusing post. However, if you did respond negatively "shame on you". What's better someone who volunteers for the experience they receive or someone who volunteers to receive an "attaboy"? Neither is any better than the other, although the motives are different they're both still VOLUNTEERING for the greater good. Lastly, this was no ordinary mess and that's what influenced me to write this post (see the pictures below). Thanks for listening comment away...

Sweet blog.

I find it pretty funny that RockyMtnTed felt the need to post on here twice about how he always carries a trash bag when he climbs to pick up the trash of others, but also let us all know that he doesn't feel the need to post online about it. So humble.

I believe you meant, "eunuch". People are pieces of shit, just be glad that it was trash and not MORE graffiti.

Laybacking is poor style and spring loaded death.

Don't mind ted - he has issues.

Nice work cleaning up the boulders Travis - I'd be pissed as well if I ran across that mess!

This was supposed to be an amusing thread....? You're gonna need a LOT more Eva for me to consider this close to amusing.

Dude, it looks like they left you a beer bong and some pizza... I don't see what the big problem is anyway.
