Description Suggest change

In the heat of the summer this boulder is best climbed early in the morning or late in the evening. However the problems on the west side stay in the shade until around 10am. The rock is similar to the Tuolumne Boulder in Rattlesnake Canyon. There is definitely some loose stuff on this boulder so climb with caution.

Getting There Suggest change

Located on the right side of the road as you drive into the canyon. The Transition Boulder sits by itself to the left of the main group of boulders. Park in the small pullout and hike south east up the wash for about 150 meters.
