Access Issue: Remember to fill out a wilderness permit, even if climbing for the day!
Details
Permits can be acquired at the ranger station on the way to the boulders from the upper Tramway station.
Description
Popular due to it's convenience and a wealth of great problems concentrated in a relatively small area. A good trail exists through the heart of the area and leads further afield to Shangri-La.
Getting There
Hike past the Ranger Station, the trail junction and the turn-off for the Flash Gordon Area and continue along the trail over several small hills until the trail flattens out again and the boulders come into view on the right. Check the individual problems for more detailed approach information.
