Also, I'm stoked to hear there is finally a date for the release of the blue basic. Will I be buying one for 70 bucks to supplement my 3 other basics and my set of mastercams? You bet. Wish it could be 60 but its still cheaper (and better) than Fixe. And I know firsthand how awesome basics are, where as X4s look great, but only time and use/abuse will tell.

Not surprising but disappointing. I have both Totem Basics and Fixe Aliens. If all things were equal I'd get the Fixe. Totems are way nice but I found the Fixe to be just a tad nice.
