Description

This is the obvious formation that you see when walking towards South Munchkinland from the southeast. The climbing routes are on the northwest wall. The name of the area came from a large tortoise shell that Dennis Yates and I found during our initial exploration in 1987.

Getting There

Follow the description under South Munchkinland. This is the first crag that you come to.
