DescriptionAt 2308m, Torre Barancio is a relatively small tower north of Torre Grande. However, this does not detract from the fun climbing and the grand view from the small grass-covered summit. Two classic lines, both rated IV (~5.6), ascend the northern side of the tower: The North Face and the aesthetic Northwest Corner. Getting ThereFrom the Rif. Scoiattoli, hike five minutes down to the Torre Grande. Take a low trail down and around (west) of the Torre Grande and the smaller formation west of Torre Grande. The route begins almost the center of the North Face and climbs directly upwards for 30 meters to a small terrace (ledge). A short travese right to a crack which is followed upwards for another 10 meters and reaches a series of small ledges.
