DescriptionTorfels (gate rock), a.k.a. Döttenbrunner, is a shady crag with three main areas of climbing. There are nearly forty established routes here and as bouldering is just being explored there are still many FA's to be had. Getting ThereFrom Regensburg or Passau, take the A3 to the Steinach exit and go North on 20 to Cham. In Cham get on the 22 and go North. Just outside town take a right to Waldmünchen and go through Willmering, and through Katzbach. Just north of Katzbach, you will see a turn off that is split by a tree, go right (east) here on Roßhoferstrasse and follow it all the way to oberen Roßhof . Roßhof is a guest-house with a good beer garden. Just before the guest house, take a right through a meadow, and then another right shortly thereafter at a crossroads. Park at the end where the meadow meets the forest. Confused?...The google map shows the point where to park. |
