Top Rope Moderates

I'm coming from Las Vegas and new to the area.

I am taking a group of military out for some introductory climbing. We would be coming from Ogden but willing to travel 1.5 hours to climb each day. I am looking for a location that has a good amount of moderates in one place. Probably limit these guys to 5.10d

I can lead trad and sport to setup anchors for top rope. Prefer bolted anchors or naturals so I don't run out of pro.

My goal is to setup on at least 5 routes.

Thanks!

Ferguson Canyon has tons of routes in a very small space. Ferguson is right by Big Cottonwood Canyon and the access is good. Short hike to the climbs and then there is climb after climb. If you are top roping you need to just hike around the rock formations to the top. I'm sure there is plenty of beta on the hike routes available. Have fun!

Curious when your trip is?

Ferguson can be super crowded especially on the weekends. Folks wait in line to get on especially the routes you can dangle a TR from.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
