Description 

Top Hat is one of the backcountry crags that sit on the plateau above Circle X Ranch near Sandstone Peak and Mt. Olympus. As seen from the parking area for the Mishe Mokwa Trail/Echo Cliffs Top Hat is the formation with the oddly tilted summit blocks, to the west.

Getting There 

From Mt. Olympus hike west on the fire road for ~ 10 minutes. After going down a steep section on the fire road you reach a wide saddle. From the saddle follow a faint trail on the left toward the large wall to the west. Scramble up to the right of the large face (Paleface) to the smaller formations on the summit.
