My law is modeled after Godwin's Law, which states: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches."
I, therefore, propose tooTALL's Law: "As an online discussion on Mountain Project grows longer, the probability of a personal attack involving the original poster or Boulderites approaches."
I don't care if the person/people/geographic location you're attacking pissed you off today/yesterday/ten years ago. I am having/might have/will have/hope to have a different experience than you did. These pissing matches were fun to read, but they're really just infecting legitimate posts. Please prove me wrong.

Sometimes comparisons to Nazis are valid. Sometimes Boulderites are entitled pricks.

The OP seems kind of paranoid. It's overly dramatic and takes too personally others' general behavior that doesn't affect the poster. It reminds me of Hitler's rhetorical style.

Tim, all you had to do was find a way to work Scott M's "give-a-fuck-o-meter" into there and I would have to say that might be one of the best posts I've ever seen on here.

You're all wrong you big fat nerfherder! I think it goes like this: As an online discussion on Mountain Project grows longer, the probability of a claim of elitism, or the superiority of trad climbing and/or BITD approaches. PS, Boulder is the armpit of the Hwy 36 corridor.
