Description
Lower (aka King Crimson) Wall - This crag is mostly hidden from the road (and valley) views, and is an excellent (shaded) afternoon summer crag, just a short walk up the ridge from the road.
Best descent is to walk off to the north, or rappel from the top of "Climb, Eat, Sleep, Drink, Dream" at the south end or "Moonchild" at the north end.
This crag apparently hasn't had much traffic in many years and so some of the routes have regrown (moss and lichen), so come prepared to scrub...

Getting There
From the road side parking at the top of the hill (0.7 miles up from the valley floor on road #2148), hike in about 5 minutes to the base of the first east facing cliff. The whole of the Tonata Creek Wall is on Forest Service land, but the land to the north and east is private so its best to park on the south side at the top of the hill and climb the deer trail up the ridge - both the bottom and top of the crag is easily accessed from this ridge trail.
