All my resoles have always come back 1/4-1/2 size looser than when they went in

Thats what, i as a customer, sees

Maybe you guarantee the exact fit an shape on your resoles?

Never had a stretching issue, if anything they come back feeling tighter, especially after a new rand/toecap/whatever.

I think the smell/funkness is overhyped. wash your damn shoes.
