My mammut superdry climbing rope was hanging in the basement to dry when my landlord cut a bunch of ceramic tiles with his tile saw.

Climbing rope is now lightly coated with sharp flecks of tile and tile dust. Rope has not yet been handled, manipulated or worked in any way.

I'm thinking I can just wash it in cold water, side loading machine.

retire it?

Thoughts?

Shop vac first. Then swish it around in your tub. Air dry. Forget the washing machine.

Kill My Landlord:
Dark and lonely on a summer's night.
Kill my landlord. Kill my landlord.
Watchdog barking. Do he bite?
Kill my landlord. Kill my landlord.
Slip in his window. Break his neck.
Then his house I start to wreck.
Got no reason. What the heck?
Kill my landlord. Kill my landlord.
C-I-L-L my land lord.
