Warning Access Issue: Red Rock RAIN AND WET ROCK: The sandstone is fragile and is very easily damaged when wet. DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

Shared start with Flame Ranger, but continue a little further right to the second line of bolts. Crimpy and pumpy through the middle of the route. Optional gear on the upper section for the runouts. The rock quality declines on the upper section, so climb delicately.

Location Suggest change

Same start as Flame Ranger.

Protection Suggest change

Currently has enough bolts to be lead safely without gear (especially with a stick clip for the first bolt), but the cracks down low and up high also take gear if desired.
