Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

This smallish crag has only a couple of routes with one of them being the stunning Thrill of Desire (5.12c) a technical stemming corner.

Getting There

Situated east of The Castle between The Homestead Wall and Arresting Rock. The climbs are on the north and southwest faces giving sun/shade options. The approach takes anywhere from 60-90 minutes from the closest parking area.
