Daed. It's an ancient Greek word having to do with trees. And pineapple chunks and olives.

Oh, ok. For a sec, I thought you meant and typo'd "dated" and I would've had to vehemently disagree with that notion as it would then detract from it's growing "classic" status.

Classics never die. They just get polished.

In a zoo in California, a mother tiger gave birth to a rare set of triplet tiger cubs. Unfortunately, due to complications in the pregnancy, the cubs were born prematurely and due to their tiny size, they died shortly after birth.

The mother tiger after recovering from the delivery, suddenly started to decline in health, although physically she was fine. The veterinarians felt that the loss of her litter had caused the tigress to fall into a depression. The doctors decided that if the tigress could surrogate another mother's cubs, perhaps she would improve.

After checking with many other zoos across the country, the depressing news was that there were no tiger cubs of the right age to introduce to the mourning mother. The veterinarians decided to try something that had never been tried in a zoo environment. Sometimes a mother of one species will take on the care of a different species. The only "orphans" that could be found quickly, were a litter of weaner pigs. The zoo keepers and vets wrapped the piglets in tiger skin and placed the babies around the mother tiger.
I hold the dog-pile record

Has anyone seen the new Star Trek? I usually fall asleep during late night movies in the theater, but I was wide awake the entire time for this one. We saw it on the IMAX at The Palms Casino, and it was worth the extra pocket change.

Love that vid G. Too bad she dies in the end.

Love your new moniker as well. Although I never got the hang of using a Gri-Gri, dirty or otherwise.

She's not dead, she's sleeping; exhausted from all those involuntary, and repetitive body movements.

Hey, is that Dave Holliday's dog Natasha in the video?

Welcome back, Lee! We missed your presence!

BTW, Stich inspired Dirty Gri Gri.

ok, you got me. I don't know what those two pictures are supposed to mean, if anything, but I do know that 2.71828183 is an approximation of e. And to that, I'll see your e and raise you phi (Φ). 1.6180...

Can I ante in with a phi-naught? Φo (=2.067 833 667(52) × 10−15 Wb)

Physics and math talk will surely kill this thread quickly!

Ouch. Geeg, I went to law school because I'm a math/science ignoramus. I thought maybe it was a two-part pictogram declaring "Horseshit" to my post accusing you of having a dirty mind. :)
