Description

Sit start on the far left side of the north face of the Diamond Boulder. Start as a SDS just left of Chip Happy (short, green route on the slightly overhanging arete), with left hand around the arete on a sloping crimp, with right hand on right side of arete on sloping crimp. Bring your left foot up just above starting lip, and put your right foot in sloping dish on the right side. Move up and right to a positive incut sidepull with right hand and then lunge for the lip.

Location

This is variation on the north side of the Diamond Boulder.

Protection

Throwing a toe hook with that left foot on the arete before the throw might help make it a bit easier.

Let me clarify this. SDS with your bum on the ground, right hand on the crimp, left on the sloper. Right foot on the right roof-lip, left on the left side roof-lip, move left hand to the positive sloper, bump right hand to the side-pull, set feet and fire to the lip, or intermediate left hand on the arete.
