My gf and I are thinking about flying out to the Rock Rodeo in February.
Any helpful tips or advice from folks that have been in the past?

I would come out a few days before the Rodeo to spend some time in the park. Take a tour, volunteer (call the office and ask for) or commercial. Rodeo weekend is busy and only participants get access to the park on Saturday.

Register for the rodeo at: huecorodeo.com

It takes many volunteers to make the Rodeo happen being involved has its benefits. You can sign up to volunteer here: docs.google.com/forms/d/1Ru…

Cheers,

Ian

Thanks for the tips everyone.
Got reservations at the Ranch and got into the park Thursday for a warm-up day.
Really stoked to go....looks like a ton of fun.
This will be my first comp in almost 20 years (after a small 20 year break of not climbing :)

...pumped!!!!!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
