The Winter Wall is a short aid route put up in the middle of winter during a very wet snowstorm.
This short route makes a good practice aid route for those looking to practice steep hooking, hanging on rivets (1/4in buttonheads), pounding thin short pins and placing gear in awkward positions for bigger walls in the future. Or someone just looking for something to do on a cold snowy winter day.
Don't be intimidated, this is a pretty well protected and easy to follow aid route, especially if there isn't a waterfall of freezing melt water blowing off the top onto your head the whole way.
Begin right off the ground by hooking a bomber edge, then rivet, rivet, pin... rivet, rivet, hook and so on...

Protection
A half dozen or more rivet hangers/wires or small nuts that slide down and can be used as rivet hangers. A few baby knifeblades, thin to medium. Your favorite bathook or a small selection of hooks which can grab onto small depressions (bat holes), a small set of nuts and several small to medium cams for the top.
