This boulder gets sun almost all day. Although fairly close to the road it tends to stay uncrowded. The boulder itself is quite grainy compared to the standard fare found within the canyon.

Some say it's a pile; others say it's their favorite spot. You must decide for yourself.

Getting There 

Park approx. 1.1 miles up the canyon (from the Nat'l park sign). Same parking as for the Gate Buttress.....head up the trail and it is the first boulder that you will see on your right.

Start on the obvious crescent shaped hold near the center of the overhang with both hands, which is also the start of Superfly. Make a big move up and left up to the gaston, then either top out straight up, or top out a bit right on the Superfly jug. This problem seems almost like an eliminate until you pull onto the starting hold and realize moving up and left is far easier than going right to the Superfly crimp. A nice variant.
