BETA PHOTO: The Fly Boulder

Description

This boulder gets sun almost all day. Although fairly close to the road it tends to stay uncrowded. The boulder itself is quite grainy compared to the standard fare found within the canyon.

Some say it's a pile; others say it's their favorite spot. You must decide for yourself.

Getting There

Park approx. 1.1 miles up the canyon (from the Nat'l park sign). Same parking as for the Gate Buttress.....head up the trail and it is the first boulder that you will see on your right.
