This area captures your attention with the violent roar of the raging rapids left and beneath the climbs.
The Sleeping Lady area has just a couple of problems, but the problem of the same name makes a stop there (and in Leavenworth, for that matter) very much worth it.

Getting There

The Sleeping Lady shares the pullout for Mad Meadows - an unusually long, two car deep pullout on the left as you drive away from town, at roughly 5.1 miles. Instead of heading uphill, look for a couple of trees in the middle of the pullout, and find a small, but obvious trail that leads down to rock. You will find these problems hanging over the rapids.
