Description

Sunny until early afternoon. The 10's on this wall are high quality and generally less crowded than Mr. Slate.

Getting There

Walk past the Swiss Tower. This wall starts with a 10c on the right with super featured rock at the start and ends with a lovely long 5.11 with a bouldery start on the left.

Reef Lightly 5.11- 6c 22 VIII+ 22 E3 5c  AZ : Northern Arizona : ... : The Shooting Gallery
The bottom comes out a small roof to difficult climbing with the crux just above the second bolt (though one could argue clipping the first bolt is the crux). The whole climb is plagued by poorly placed bolts but the moves are decent if a bit contrived. Above the small ledge are easy, juggy moves then a scramble to the anchors. The bolting on this route appears old, and it would probably be a service to remove the bolts, patch the holes and rebolt with modern hardware in better spots. ...[more]   Browse More Classics in AZ
