BETA PHOTO: Photo/topo for The Shank (5.10a), Joshua Tree NP

Cool pumpy moves at the start (crux) to large buckets. A bit gritty.

Get there by going to the Short Wall area and campgrounds behind it, take path to the right of the Corridors. Faces Morbid Mound. Climb up a few boulders to base of climb. Can be seen from the path.

4 bolts, 3 bolt anchor/rap (all 3/8")

Fun climbing on this makes it worth seeking out but it's just too short to merit any more stars. One star out of five.
