The Sailing Wall represents a fine collection of pocketed warmups with grades from 5.8-5.11. Most of the routes check in with an average height of 50 feet or so. A good place to get started if you have hiked straight up.
Follow directions for Higher Solitude Canyon. It is located just below the Main Wall on the trail.

The Sundial is the left most route on the formation. The line is hard to miss as it climbs a large leaning pillar of sorts. A bouldery beginning leads to better holds along the obtuse left arete.
