The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

This is the most Obvious boulder in the area it looks like a ship's prow from below. Two routes exist. "Re-Todd Gordumb" climbs the left side of the NE Face and "Burke's Solo" climbs the bottomless crack on the right.
