Getting There Suggest change

From Hwy 13 at Osceola, just north of Truman Lake, find Hwy B and go west. Hwy B will fork almost immediately, stay left. After driving about one mile, you will go over a bridge and the Quarry will be visible to the southwest. Continue up over the hill and take the first gravel road left. There is a sign on the road that states "road ends in water." Drive about 1/3 miles and park at a pullout on the right. Hike past a cable gate following the dirt road to the bluffs. Be sure to stay on the lower road (the upper road leads to the top of the bluffs and is usually used only if the lake has flooded the lower road). Continue around the corner to good south facing rock.
