Description

This is the right-leaning crack about 10' right of Dress Rehearsal. Start up an easy slab to reach the crack. Continue up to the right, passing a vertical section (the crux) about half-way up. Above this, follow easy slab climbing along a crack, up and left. Belay from the same spot as for Dress Rehearsal.

Location

on the right side of Playhouse Rock, left of the tree growing out of the large flake

Protection

standard rack, gear belay from the top of the route

Look for this obvious landmark on the right side of Playhouse Rock. The Playwright starts about 20' to the left.

It's okay. Wasn't occupied by other groups... which can be the case on a busy Saturday. Nothing spectacular, but it sure beats work!

About 10 feet of business about 40 feet up, the rest is a cruise. Fun route. Good warm-up if the rest of the wall's 6's are occupied. First route in the shade as the day progresses.
