Description

A few short moderate routes are located in the small pit area, just across from Noah's Ark. "The Pit" is a great area for kids and beginners alike. There are also a few boulder problems in the area.

Getting There

Located across Noah's Ark, Hike down the service road just pass the Sonny and Juanita area. Follow the gravel trail on the left and around toward the Potholes area. Find an obvious climber path to the Pit. Path may be muddy and wet in the spring and after it rains.

The most difficult part about climbing in the Pit is finding suitable anchors for setting topropes. You can't use the railings.
