Perched above the East Buttress, with two walls at right angles to each other, the Pinnacle offers some steep and exposed routes, including The Axe, one of Wales' best mountain rock climbs. Another standout here is Shrike, an outrageous 2 pitch steep wall climb put up by Joe Brown.

Getting There

Climbs are best approached by rappel after scrambling to the top of the Pinnacle along Eastern Terrace.

The East Gully approach is loose, steep, and precarious - not recommended.
