The original trailhead was closed after someone was electrocuted themselves while playing on the powerlines. Access to the cliff is now gained by parking in a nearby park and hiking through a trailer park. As yet there have been no known incidents as climbers hike through the trailer park however, please be respectful of residents and low key at all times. Please observe any posted no-trespassing signs if they show up.
This information is a public crowdsourcing effort between the Access Fund,
and Mountain Project. You should confirm closures, restrictions, and/or related dates.
Striking, overhanging face on a west-facing boulder, just under one of the powerline towers. Home to the best and hardest routes at Conejo Mountain.
The three routes on this formation are (from left to right): Junk Bonds (5.12d), The Outcast (5.12a), and Cowgirl Paradise (5.11c).
All three routes are topped with open shuts. It is possible to access the top anchors by scrambling up a narrow gully/crack on the right side of the face (class 3-4).
Getting There
