We're probably still a few years off, but I think this will be available in our lifetimes. They will use MEMS technology to make those hooks microscopic, and it will be the best tape you've ever seen...able to attach and reattach over and over again without losing adhesion.

People will be freeing El Cap in an easy afternoon, and if you think our current debates about style are bad now....
