Hello all, I worked my hands terribly this summer on an overhanging finger to hand to fist crack with out tape and got a huge gobie. It eventually pseudo-healed, but I worked at a state and federal park with awesome climbing, and crack climbing is by far my favorite. That was in late July. It is now February, and I have been left with a small mound of scar tissue on the top of my left hand. When I get outside or in the gym, I usually don't use tape, but it doesn't seem to matter either way, and I often climb at least one crack every session. While the mound of scar tissue generally won't open, or bleed, there is often blood, like a blood blister, that can be seen under it from the pressure of jamming. Anyone else had anything similiar? I'll throw in some photos for good measure. The blood blister in the photo is rather mild. And PS. next time I will just have to own that overhanging crack.
