Climbing in the canyon is legal, but please maintain a low profile. Please leave no trace to minimize the chances of the park closing to climbers.

Description

Almost completely overhanging on all sides (vary rare for PDC) with good quality holds in between choss. North Face is tallest at about 12 ft and the South Face is around 6-7 ft. 4-6 unique problems exist on the boulder.

Getting There

Take the main trail that winds through the first back country area of boulders and passes in front of the big traverse boulder from this boulder head down the trail that points toward the south side of the next major hill which is where the boulder is located OR in good dry wintery conditions stay on the main trail instead of dropping into the first dry riverbed and you will come to the turn in the river in .5 miles the boulder will be east of the turn and visible from the trail.
