Description

This area is distinguished by the jumbled nature of the boulders, requiring a lot of scrambling over and squeezing through the rocks piled under the escarpment. Various small coves exist along the water where the majority of the problems exist though many have been established throughout this confusing pile of rock.

The Maze is worth traversing however because of some great climbing of varied styles. From terrifying slabs to powerful roof climbing, sun-baked exposure to dank caves The Maze has a lot to offer.

Classics include Wanna Be My Baby?, Bonspeil, Merganser, The Kids Are Alright, Poseidon, and Spotted Turtle.

Getting There

The second "group" of boulders along the beach, The Maze begins after passing The Crow Boulder and continues roughly until The Roger '99 Boulder. Traversing this area can be tricky, but go slow, enjoy the scenery, and watch your footing as the rock can become wet and slippery. Take the path of least resistance and enjoy the journey!
