Description

This is the main original cliff band at Attitash.

Getting There

Across the river there is a large red painted splotch on a tree. Stay to the left of this tree following a vague path over some knock downed trees then head up steeply following a kind of gully. This brings you the the left side of the cliff. You should see an off-width with a tree growing out of it. To the left of the tree is Choo Choo and to the right of it is How Green Was My Valley.

Thin Line 5.11 6c+ 23 VIII- 23 E4 5c  NH : Attitash Crag : The Main Area
Difficult and thought provoking moves past the first and second bolt lead to a steep and unrelenting slab protected by two bolts and gear at the midway-point. Pitch 1: Climb past three bolts to a vertical crack/pocket (gear up to .75) midway up the slab. Continue straight up the slab on thin but fun chips and smears to a bolt. The route continues on to a nice balcony where you can get a well deserved shake before the final moves past the last bolt to a two bolt anchor (60)...[more]   Browse More Classics in NH
